Diaspora Co's newer addition to their lineup, the Masala Chai tea and spice blend contains a mixture of CTC black tea and whole cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, fennel, black pepper, and cloves. CTC is a stronger, faster-brewing tea than what you'd steep on its own, built to hold up against milk and spice rather than get lost under it.
Simmer with water and milk and sweeten with jaggery for a spice-forward version of the classic Indian chai.
