Cinnamon Sticks 00

Same producer, same Sri Lankan provenance as our finest grade cinnamon, just a wider quill (the cinnamon stick isn't as tightly rolled) and a little more punch. The 00 Alba is still true cinnamon, worlds away from the cassia you'll find in most supermarkets, but more robust and slightly more affordable than the 00000 grade we also carry. Use it liberally: desserts, curries, slow-cooked dishes, baked goods. Good on lamb and pork too.

Grown by Sanath and Deepa on a sandy-soiled plantation in the village of Cinnamon, Sri Lanka, a few hundred metres from the Indian Ocean. Épices de Cru uses their cinnamon exclusively in all their blends. 35g bag
