Aleppo Pepper Flakes

Aleppo pepper flakes are a Middle Eastern staple used to season meats, salads, beans and dips. Aleppo pepper flakes are about half as spicy as your basic chili flake, bright and fruity tasting and smell a lot like sun-dried tomatoes. Once you have this slightly spicy flavour enhancer in your kitchen you will find yourself sprinkling it on anything that needs a bit of oomph. While Aleppo pepper originated in Syria, it's now mostly sourced from Turkey, and Épices de Cru's superior grade comes from the Turkish side of the North Syrian Plateau. 50g tin
