Gochujang is one of the foundational ingredients in Korean cooking. A sweet and sticky paste made with red chilis (gochugaru), glutinous rice, and fermented soy beans, it's generally mixed with some combination of soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar and garlic to produce deliciously savoury sauces, glazes and marinades.
