Burlap & Barrel's Cloud Forest Cardamom comes from a single-estate regenerative farm in the highlands of Guatemala. The high-altitude growing conditions produce seeds that are sweet and tart, with notes of summer fruit and fresh herbs: noticeably different from the standard green cardamom you find elsewhere.
Decorticated means the seeds have already been removed from the pods, so they're ready to use straight from the jar. The built-in grinder makes it easy to add fresh-ground cardamom directly to pastry doughs, jams, chicken dishes, or coffee without any extra equipment.
